Craft Beer fan Marty Duffy V has owned the Cellar Peanut Pub since 2002. It was a move to a friendly neighborhood pub in Oskaloosa in 2012 and then in an addition to Pella, Iowa in 2015 that allowed the business to grow into the beer monster that it is today. With 50 craft beers on draft and some of the most knowledgeable Pubtenders, The Cellar Peanut Pub prides itself on not only the selection of beer but also beer education. Each pubtender is a certified Beer Server through the Cicerone Program and are more than happy to chat about craft beer.
We are located smack in the middle of beautiful downtown Pella, Iowa. We are surrounded by small locally owned shops and restaurants, a canal (the Molengracht) in our back yard and a clock with characters that play out a story (the Klokkenspel) as our neighbor. Pella hosts an annual Tulip Time Festival during the first weekend in May. With hundreds of thousands of tulips, food vendors with traditional Dutch delicacies, performances, parades so much more. However, any time is a great time to visit Pella and The Cellar Peanut Pub. Bring your own food in or have anything delivered from one of the local restaurants.
Cheers to Craft Beer!
